Ocean Soul Extended

Ocean Soul Extended is a follow-up to an indie game I created along with Gonzo0193 last year for Godot Wild Jam #41. The original can be played here: https://ziszle.itch.io/ocean-soul

The extended version was created over three months after the end of that jam and finished in April 2022. The goal was to have fun and fix some of the issues highlighted in the original game. After April we no longer had the time to continue development and so we left the game as it was.

I have decided to publish that build now for any to enjoy. The game is only available on Windows.

Controls & Features

• WASD to move
• Travel by a candle to automatically save your progress (this will not persist upon exiting the game)
• Challenge yourself to collect and rescue the lost souls.
• Touching anything other than a candle or soul will result in death
• No lives, die as many times as you like!

Installation Instructions

To run the game, simply download the .zip file, extract and run the executable file contained within.

• Tested on Windows 10 and Windows 11. If using an earlier version of Windows or WINE, your mileage may vary.
• Tested on Pop OS (Linux) via WINE; the game plays but in a tiny screen. Try this at your own risk!
